Santa for dinner in Tocumwal
Santa arrived a few months early in Tocumwal on Saturday night for a special dinner party at the Golf & Bowls Club.
Santa’s elves prepared a divine three course menu that had all the guests agonising at which selection to make, as everything was delicious.
The function elves also had the room decorated beautifully. It felt just like Christmas with fairy lights twinkling, Christmas trees and Santa’s sleigh all shiny and bright.
Santa’s guests enjoyed a few carols to set the scene by entertainer Mark Haze followed by some delightful dinner music.
Once the meal was finished Santa sparked up the music again and the guests hit the dance floor.
It was a wonderful night with fantastic food enjoyed by all who attended.
The man in the big red suit mingled with all his special guests until it was time to head back to the North Pole.
Another exciting event coming up at the club is the Truckies & Tradies Golf Day on Saturday August 4 — if you haven’t already entered, now is the time to get your forms in.
This promises to be a great day out for both the serious golfer and the not so serious.
Enjoy delicious roast meat rolls for lunch, plenty of refreshments available from the on-course drinks cart and guaranteed laughs from a guest comedian.
If you don’t have a team the club can put you in one. Spaces are limited so get your entry forms in now.
Contact reception to enter. There will be plenty of great prizes and giveaways on the day, so phone 5874 9111.
