Combined market, carols celebration
Please save the date for the Christmas Market Night/Carols on Friday, December 7.
This year the Carols will also be held on the same night as the market night.
There will be stalls, the Red Cross Extravaganza and plenty of entertainment for the children.
As always the main street will be closed and there will be plenty of tables and chairs for the public to enjoy a meal, drink and entertainment.
Of course Santa will be making an appearance and looks forward to seeing everyone there.
This year at the Market Night a new competition called ‘The Voice’ will take place between 6pm and 7pm.
The Voice is open to all ages and abilities, and there are prizes to be won.
For more information and to book your spot please phone Damien Taylor on 0416 426 367.
A lot has happened in the last week at the Community Garden.
The container has a verandah, thanks to the four handy guys, and there’s now a frame for a hot house donated by Judy and Sue Chisholm.
A small self-watering wicking bed demonstration was also held by Maree Ryan on Saturday.
Thank you for all donations of tools, mulch potting mix and more, they will all be put to very good use.
Take a walk down to the garden, you might be able to pick something for your dinner for a small donation.
The annual Senior Citizens Christmas Party hosted by the Lions Club will be held on Sunday, December 2, at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.
The dinner will be held at the Berrigan Memorial Supper Room, and town pick up is available.
