Christmas light judging on tonight
The judging of the colourful Christmas lights competition will be held tonight.
The judges will have a tough job as there are some great displays with everyone putting in a great effort.
If you haven't driven around, tonight would be the night to look at all the lights.
Good luck to everyone who has participated.
The winners will be announced at the Dawmac Community Breakfast on Saturday morning.
This is the 24th year the Community Breakfast has been held and the breakfast is free.
The organisers would love to see you there enjoying a cereal, eggs, bacon, orange juice and tea and coffee and of course the opportunity to catch up with people and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
Mass times for Christmas at St Columba’s are as follows: Christmas Eve 5.30pm vigil in Berrigan and 8pm in Mulwala.
Christmas Day 8am in Mulwala and 10am in Barooga.
The National Summer Reading Club will return to the Berrigan Library and online at summerreadingclub.org.au.
This event takes place in more than 1000 libraries across the country.
Created for children between five and 12 years-old, the Summer Reading Club is a free program that instils a love of libraries and reading.
This year's theme, Curious Creatures, encourages young readers to discover new worlds through reading and online.
If you have any queries about this program call into the library and ask Anne or Jenny.
The Community Club will be having a two person ambrose competition on Sunday, December 30. This is a fun social day and is for all ages and golfing handicapped and non handicapped players.
Golfers are asked to organise their own partners.

Berrigan UHA wish to thank everyone for their valued support of the monster raffle, drawn at the market night.
The lucky winner was Chris Ladsom from Mulwala.
All proceeds from the raffle go towards equipment and patient care at the Hospital (MPS).
On Christmas Eve the Uniting Church is having a carol service at 8pm, followed by a light supper. All are welcome.
The BDDA will be holding its monthly meeting and Christmas Party tonight at the RSL Sub Branch rooms from 7pm.
The BDDA invites the community to join them and end the year on a positive note.

Berrigan Bowls is having a Christmas windup at the Community Golf & Bowls Club tomorrow.
The event starts at 6pm with a smorgasbord meal. All bowlers welcome.
Social bowls will continue between pennant breaks at 4pm on Sundays.
The Community Golf & Bowls Club would welcome anyone considering taking up bowls to join them.
