Creative, stylish fundraiser
Two charities will be the beneficiary of a colourful and laughinducing fundraising day at the Tocumwal Public School.
The school’s student representative council encouraged other students to come to school with crazy hair and fun moustaches, and provide a gold coin for the honour.
The result was more than $150 to be shared between research and awareness from Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and the Save the Bilby charity.
Students were extremely creative in their efforts.
Some fashioned their hair into spiders and another to depict a surfer riding a wave.
Slinkies and cups were also used as props for some of the creative hairstyles, and bright colours were very popular among the students.
Also showcased were moustaches of all sizes, shapes and colours.
