Bonanza entries close this Friday
There are only a few more days left in which your Christmas shopping could win you a handy cash prize for the holidays.
The final Southern Riverina News Christmas Shopping Bonanza prizes will be drawn at this Saturday’s Finley Xmas Xtravaganza.
A share of $1500 in shopping vouchers is up for grabs.
To be in the running, all you have to do is shop local, enter your Bonanza tickets and be at Finley Railway Park at the time of the draw.
If your ticket is drawn you win a $250 shopping voucher, but if you’re there and can claim your prize within five minutes it doubles to $500 in shopping vouchers.
Three separate draws will be held throughout the event, with the first draw expected to be about 7pm.
The Shopping Bonanza has already distributed $1500 worth of vouchers to be spent at participating businesses (see page 12).
Entry boxes will still be available until Friday, so keep shopping locally and drop your tickets in the box.
The major prize draws follow on from our final weekly draw on Monday, which saw $300 in vouchers given away.
The lucky winners were Trayz Douglas (drawn at Daisy Mae’s Giftware), Ben Rigby (Con Carr Betta) and Deb Shaw (Finley IGA).
Mrs Shaw said it was a shock to win, and said she will be boasting about her win to the ‘‘doubters’’
‘‘I’ve told friends to enter and they keep saying to me I’ll never win.
‘‘It just shows what shopping local can do.
‘‘The money you spend flows through the community, with many things to benefit from.’’
