Finley woman bitten by dog
A Finley woman has escaped from a surprise dog attack with minor injuries.
About 7.25am on Sunday, the lady was walking her dog along Denison St.
Police allege a man was moving his three larger dogs from his backyard to his ute at the time she was walking past, and the dogs ran towards the woman’s smaller dog.
In an attempt to avoid an attack, the woman picked up her dog as one of the larger dogs approached.
The owner of the three big dogs helped to control them.
The woman suffered small bite marks and scratches and was taken to Finley Hospital, while the small dog sustained an injury on the leg.
The incident is now in the hands of the Berrigan Shire ranger.
