New school shoes for new school year
Schools all around the district are gearing up for the 2018 school year and Barber’s Shoex is the first place to visit for all shoe needs.
Selecting quality leather and affordable school shoes can be tricky.
You have to consider trends and styles, as well as recommendations from local primary and secondary schools.
Barber’s Shoex stocks the latest styles across all the different age groups, ranging from primary age to high school age.
A selection of the new Skechers school range in all black is also available this year, with sizes suitable for primary and high school aged students.
For girls they have lace-ups, T-Bars and Mary Janes that either buckle-up or have velcro.
They come in smooth leathers or the popular Hi-Shine leather, and are available from sizes infant 8 to adult 12.
Boys have the choice of traditional laced styles or low-profile skate shoes, with vulcanised rubber soles from Rocboots.
Barber’s Shoex has a large range of styles of the all black school-joggers with velcro fastening or laced styles in leather for comfort and support.
Many of the school shoes now are orthotic friendly and have removable insoles to cater for specialised orthotics.
The team at Barber’s personally check the fitting of each style to ensure the best fit possible.
They also speak to you and your child about school footwear requirements to ensure you’re getting the right shoe.
For Barber’s Shoex, preparation takes more than just a few weeks.
Staff started planning for the 2019 back to school rush in July last year, coinciding with the release of the newest back to school styles.
Orders were placed for the new shoes so they would arrive in time for the January rush, and they are now available in both the Finley and Cobram stores.
Call into the Finley store at 154 Murray St or call 5883 1252.
If you’re in Cobram, stop by and see the team at 17 Main St, or call 5872 2870.
