The heavens opened and dumped a tropical rain storm on the town, putting gutters and downpipes to the test on Saturday night.
Cars parked in the main street had a free car wash while trees and gardens benefited, looking sparkly and fresh after the storm washed away all the dust.
Jerilderie Tidy Towns will have its first official meeting for the year at Luke Park at 6pm tomorrow. New members are always welcome.
Jerilderie Physical Culture Club will hold a registration and information night for all ages, at the Jerilderie Gym from 5pm to 6pm next Wednesday, February 13.

The JPS community has sadly farewelled Mrs Hilary Knight, who has taken on a part-time position at Finley High School. The office is unattended on Mondays.

There was much activity at St Joseph’s Catholic School over the Christmas holidays, with tradespeople coming and going. Students and teachers returned to repainted and refurbished classrooms and facilities. More St Joseph’s news next week.
If you enjoy a game of golf, but don’t fancy playing in the blazing sun in 40 degree heat you may be tempted by the opportunity to join in some Twilight Golf.
Starting this Friday at the Jerilderie Sports Club from 6pm, Twilight Golf is proposed to run for the next six weeks if enough players show interest.
There will be 10 time slots, with teams of four to six players at $5 per player.
