Chair Shelley Scoullar said water policy, health and education were certain to be key topics at the forum, plus other issues of interest and concern to residents.
She said it was an opportunity for voters to be better informed when they vote in this vital election on March 23.
‘‘We have serious issues which need to be addressed, not the least being impacts of the Basin Plan and the need for improved health services. The poor state of education facilities has also been raised as a matter of concern.
‘‘This will be one of the most important state elections in the history of our region. We must have a political representative who is able to effectively advocate for our needs.
‘‘I encourage people to attend the forum so informed decisions are made at the ballot box,’’ Mrs Scoullar said.
The Speak Up Campaign has started its 2019 membership drive and members will be on hand from 6.30pm to accept new memberships and renewals.
Anyone interested in presenting a specific question to candidates at the forum is asked to email the question to speakup4wa[email protected] Questions will also be taken from the floor on the night.
