Intereach will be seeking feedback from Finley locals this morning to learn more about the community.
Staff members from the community and human services organisation — which has an office in Finley — will be located in the Finley Community Kiosk in Murray St, Finley from 10am until noon.
Last week, staff members held a similar information stall outside IGA supermarket in Jerilderie, which was a success according to Intereach senior manager Mardi Chartres.
‘‘We had plenty of people stop and talk to our staff about what services they’d like to see in the area, and we were able to provide information and answer questions about the services Intereach provides,’’ she said.
‘‘It’s important people know what services and support we offer, and I’d encourage Finley locals to take up the opportunity.
‘‘Intereach works alongside families, children, older people, carers and people with a disability, so there is a strong chance that you or someone you know could use one of our services at some point in your life.’’
The staff will also be asking community members to complete the ‘Have Your Say’ survey which takes about 10 minutes. The survey is designed to help identify what service gaps may exist within your community.
