It was a clean sweep for Tocumwal’s netballers when they travelled to Yarroweyah for round one of the Picola & District League on Saturday.
A grade were dominant in warm conditions the Bloods with their typical form the play flowed seamlessly along the court.

B grade had the closest game for the day, with the tough Hoppers opposition getting up within two goals before the final whistle.

C grade had a strong win with solid defence providing many turnovers and shooters Alesia Atkins, Jayne Black and Melissa Herezo capitalising on them.

The C Reserve ladies all played well together in their first game, never giving up in the warmth to pick up a win.

Strong second efforts and teamwork from Tocumwal’s Under 17s showed their potential for this season, taking home a solid win.

The U15s Bloods couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season with their solid win.
Great driving in the attack end from Abby O’Connell and Asha Campbell saw the girls take home the points.

The Bloods U13s also delivered the goods on court, working well as a team and encouraging each other.

The youngest Bloods took to the court looking like seasoned players in the U11s.
All 13 girls made their debut but they looked as though they had been playing together forever as they moved the ball swiftly and neatly along the court.
