No COVID break here

-

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Finley Show Society has not skipped a beat over the last 12 months.

Monthly meetings and planning has continued throughout.

And while event the group’s 2020 Poultry Auction and Dog Trials events were cancelled, the adoption of virtual technology allowed the famed Finley Show to go ahead in a changed format in September.

Now, 2021 is shaping up to be a successful year.

The committee has held two successful street stalls already and is preparing for the Dog Trials to be held over the June long weekend.

The annual show will then be held on

September 5, 2021.

President Matt Mueller said the hard work and dedication of all volunteers involved with the Show Society is greatly appreciated.

And he said new members are always welcome.

‘‘Without volunteers there would no Show Society events,’’ he said.

‘‘Any help is always appreciated either during the lead-up or on the days of events.’’
