Hugely successful community fundraiser

A big thank you is extended for all the donations of items, and the efforts on the night of the family fundraiser held at the Coleamball­y Community Club last Saturday night.

Just on $40,000 was raised to be donated to a local family.

The Darlington Point Coleamball­y Apex committee is asking for written expression­s of interest from local not-for-profit groups who have a suitable worthwhile projects which require funding.

This is could include extension, improvemen­ts or equipment for groups in the Darlington Point and Coleamball­y district.

Details of your organisati­on and a project outline and budget/estimate or quotes are to be submitted by this Friday to pcapex@gmail.com.

Disburseme­nt of funds would be at the discretion of the board, following discussion of nomination­s. •••

Just a reminder for those using the Coleamball­y Playgroup.

Due to youth hall upgrades, playgroup will operate at the Fusion Hall on Wednesdays from 10am to noon, weather permitting, for the duration of the renovation­s.
