Mixed results for Toc netballers

B- grade: Tocumwal 16 def by Yarroweyah 38.

The girls tried hard today, but unfortunat­ely were not able to come away with the win.

Our defence never gave up. Good job. Awards: Cash Incentive — Jane Hatty; Haynes Butchery $20 voucher –Alana Sutton. C-grade: Tocumwal 42 def Yarroweyah 34. Excellent work girls.

It was a tough game though, as Yarroweyah have improved out of sight.

Best quarter was the last one. Let’s keep our heads up for next week.

Under- 17s: Tocumwal 66 def Yarroweyah 7.

It’s nice getting a win on the board after a few tough weeks.

There is only one game to go, so let’s train hard.

Under-13s: Tocumwal 17 def by Yarroweyah 20.

There was some great pressure in defence, and good movement through the attacking end. Well done girls.

It was another great performanc­e by our Baby Bloods on Saturday.

The girls were allowed to choose their own positions for the first time, and it was great to see the different combinatio­ns working together.
