Dads, special men celebrated this Friday
Fathers’ Day will be celebrated at St Joseph’s School this Friday.
There will be a breakfast at the school for dads, grandparents, and the special men in our lives, followed by the famous ‘Dads versus Students’ footy match.
Students are encouraged to wear footy colours on the day.

The Jerilderie Hospital Auxiliary raffle stall is this Friday, starting at 9am outside IGA.
A box of fruit and veg to the value of $50 is the prize.
Auxiliary members are reminded that the monthly September meeting has been cancelled.
The next monthly meeting will be on Thursday, October 27.
New members are always welcome.

Last Thursday, August 25, students from Jerilderie Public School joined St Joseph’s School community to hear Denise and Bruce Morecombe from the Daniel Morecombe Foundation speak on personal safety for children, both in the real world and online.

A date to mark on your calendars is Saturday, September 24, when the Jerilderie Gold Cup will be up and running.

October looks like being a busy month socially with the Jerilderie Chamber of Commerce hosting a Pop up Nursery and Markets on Saturday, October 22.
The mini rail will also be running that day. The same weekend, the Jerilderie Fishing Club will be holding its Family Fishing Competition at Lake Jerilderie, Luke Park, on Sunday, October 23.
On Friday, October 28, the Jerilderie Uniting Church Flower Show will be back in business, after a hiatus caused by COVID.
With all the rain we’ve had, and the weather warming up, there should be some beautiful displays. •••
Parishioners of St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Jerilderie are advised that the Saturday Vigil Mass time will change from 5pm back to 6pm from this Saturday.
