The brightest young stars from all across the Picola and District Football Netball League all gathered in Moama on Monday to determine which stars shine the brightest.

The night began with the under-13s netball vote count, with Berrigan Netball Club young gun Lucy Pyle placing fourth with a total of 23 votes.

Ruby Neesen of Jerilderie Netball Club ended in sixth place with a commendable 21 votes.

The under-15s then took centre stage with Berrigan locals Charlie Magill and Mia Cameron both putting in great efforts for the season.

Magill finished in 6th place with 17 votes, and Cameron finished just one vote behind her with 16 votes.

Jerilderie superstar Chelsea Winn was rewarded for her amazing season with a 3rd place finish, with 25 votes overall.

Winn is a a multi-faceted netballer with the ability to be an effective player in a range of positions from goal attack to centre.

The fourths football vote count was a very eventful one for the Tocumwal Football Club, with Logan White and Liam Sutton racking up vote-after-vote to finish with a joint third place finish with 36 votes each.

The dynamic duo have led the Toc fourths all the way to finals, where they will play in the preliminary final this Sunday.

In the under-17s netbally vite count, saw one of Tocumwal’s favourites in Macey White put together another brilliant season of consistent netball.

Macey ended the night with a 7th place finish, with a total of 17 votes.

The thirds vote count ended the evening. Hard working Berrigan player Hamish Cameron ended the vote count with a very respectable 17 votes, placing him in 8th place.

Tocumwal’s Blair Eddy dazzled spectators all year with his highly entertaining style of play, which earned him a third place finish on 24 votes.

Despite Blair’s short stature, he is an absolute machine when it comes to football.

Constantly finding time and space, Eddy can do just about whatever he wants on the grass.

Eddy is also tremendous near goals, leaving his opponents worried with what amazing angle the next goal will come from.
