Outback Theatre workshops in Berrigan

The Outback Theatre for Young People is coming to the Berrigan Shire during the school holidays.

Join in for five days of fun, from October 4-8, as two artists from Shopfront in Sydney are in Berrigan to develop skills in movement, choreograp­hy and performanc­e, as well as film making and visual storytelli­ng.

This workshop is for children aged 10 to 14 years, places are limited.

The Berrrigan & District Race Club held its AGM on September 7, where Geoff Swann (president) and Janine Murphy (secretary) will continue in key roles.

Joanna Monehan and Sunny Ramah are welcome newcomers to the committee.

Some longtime stalwarts of the committee are taking a well-earned rest.

Maria and Brendan Haintz and Smiley Ryan were thanked for their dedicated service over the years. They will continue to help out when necessary.

Staff are urgently required to service marques on Berrigan Cup Day, Saturday, October 29.

Berrigan Show trophy donors are asked to leave their trophies at the Berrigan Red Cross Shop by Friday, September 23, or contact

Lyndall Horne 0438 852610 or Del Schweicker 0438 772386 to arrange collection.

The show society thanks the Berrigan Red Cross for allowing the group to use their front window during the last week in September, to display all Berrigan Show trophies.
