C-res keep Cats’ flag flying

-

Finley’s C-reserve side will go into the grand final this weekend as Finley’s only hope of winning a premiership.

The side were granted a grand final performance based on their win against Moama in the first semi-final on September 3.

It was a narrow defeat, with Finley’s 43 just beating Moama’s 39.

In the grand final, the Cats will come up against Rumbalara and it is expected to be a tight contest.

When the two sides first met this season, in round eight, Rumba only just took the win with 45-41.

When they met again in round 13 the pressure was elevated, ending in a 51-all draw.
