Sharks in two grand finals
Although they rallied to be behind by 12 points at the half-time break to 32-20, the damage had been done, and Fremantle scored twice in the second half to advance the score to 42-20.
That was the Sharks’ first-grade season gone. The final score was 52-24. In what was a promising season, where the Sharks came from sixth to third, it was a disappointing end for players and supporters of this grade.
For the Sharks, five-eighth Andrew Jeffrey never stopped trying and for Fremantle, forward Brad Gibson was the standout.
This weekend, the Sharks are in the third grade and reserves grade grand finals at George Burnett Park in Karawara.
Kick-off is 10.30am for the thirds and 1.50pm for the reserves.
