New medical team
Bertram Family Medical Centre is under new management, with a team of doctors looking forward to caring for local families.
Experienced GP Dr Satish Devata has been working in the Rockingham area for nine years and in Bertram since September.
Dr Devata completed his training and postgraduate studies in general medicine in India, where he learnt the importance of a comprehensive and holistic approach.
Dr Manjula Morisetty is an experienced GP who has relocated from Scotland.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice with special focus in women’s health.
Dr Ravi Kumar Morisetty also moved from Scotland.
He has had extensive experience in general practice in the UK and his special interests are orthopaedic problems, sports medicine, minor surgical procedures, skin cancer check-ups, and Implanon and Mirena insertion and removals.
Dr Philippa Eccles will soon join the team. She is an experienced GP who trained at Oxford and relocated from the UK six years ago.
She has worked in both rural and metropolitan practices and enjoys the diversity of general practice, including women’s health, family planning and antenatal care.
Bertram Family Medical Centre provides bulk-billing on weekdays for all eligible Medicare card holders.
On Saturdays, bulk-billing is offered to all children under 16, veterans, pensioners and Health Care Card holders.
