Liquor store Dan Murphy’s looks set for inclusion in the planned $53 million Secret Harbour Shopping Centre redevelopment.

City of Rockingham councillors are this week likely to recommend approval for the latest addition to the proposed development, which will include two new major retailers — Coles and Aldi — and an extension to the existing Woolworths store.

Charter Hall Retail development manager Will Green said the organisation was also in discussions with a number of potential retail and commercial tenants, with the redevelopment to create more than 250 jobs.

Dan Murphy’s will likely occupy Lot 2003 Secret Harbour Boulevard and Lots 2010 and 2013 Oneida Road.

If supported at this week’s meeting, City of Rockingham councillors will make a recommendation to the South West Joint Development Assessment Panel, which will make a final decision.
