The Rotary Club of Palm Beach is calling for nominations for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program, which aims to bring participants out of their comfort zone and challenge them to think outside the square.

The eight-day program, at Serpentine Camping Centre, is designed for 18 to 28-year-olds with leadership potential and a commitment to community service.

The program includes seminars, workshops, physical activities and team games relating to areas such as communication, public speaking, teamwork, problem solving and decision-making.

Successful applicants will have the energy, commitment and motivation to develop their leadership potential.

The majority of the cost, including the accommodation, meals and activities, is covered by the Rotary club but participants are asked to make a small contribution.

To nominate, contact Palm Beach Rotary Club vocational director Andrew Chapman at a.m.chap[email protected]pond.com or phone 0412 562 662.
