Dynamic child care
Little Rascals Child Care Centre offers supportive and inclusive care and education with qualified and experienced staff providing a family for your family.
Tony and Elizabeth Young are the new owners of the Rockingham centre and are excited to offer a quality service and look forward to building a relationship with families and their children.
Mrs Young has an extensive background in education — she has been involved in running a childcare centre before and worked for the WA Department of Education for 15 years.
“My personal focus is on the quality of care delivered, the support and training of staff and the full utilisation of the services available within the surrounding community,” she said.
“We offer children a dynamic and holistic early childhood experience where we celebrate the diversity of culture, inclusivity and sustainability.
“Our foundation is based upon children having respect for themselves, responsibility for their actions and belonging, resilience and the capacity to overcome adversity.”
Mr and Mrs Young began their relationship with Little Rascals when they purchased the Leda centre in 2013, then the Medina centre — formerly Kwinana Out of School Care — in October 2014 and, in August this year, took over the Rockingham operation.
“We are excited to embark upon our new adventure here in Rockingham and can’t wait to welcome new and returning families,” Mrs Young said.
“We have three daughters ourselves and value communities and families and enjoy participating in local activities and events.
“Our fantastic educators, including area manager Terry Lilly, are researching and investigating new and diverse opportunities to engage with the children and create an environment where they feel valuable, capable and safe.”
