Cyclists set off on epic 450km ride to help sick kids
A group of cyclists have begun a four day, 450km challenge across the South West to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Ride For Sick Kids WA has returned for its fourth year, and a dedicated group of 30 volunteers including an accountant, a carpenter, an AFL commentator and six local McDonald’s licensees will hit the road.
Beginning in Margaret River today, the group will stop at towns along the way including Augusta, Yallingup, Dunsborough and Mandurah, before finishing in Perth on November 21.
RMCH executive officer Peter King said the Ride For Sick Kids WA had raised over $21,000 this year and fundraising would continue until the end of January 2016.
