Star turnout for new bar

The Sport­ing Globe Bar and Grill Rock­ing­ham cel­e­brated its open­ing last Fri­day night with a swag of VIPs in at­ten­dance.

Mem­bers of the Kook­abur­ras men’s na­tional hockey team, foot­ball favourites and for­mer Olympians were among the high­pro­file crowd who turned out to cel­e­brate the launch of the fran­chise.

The Rock­ing­ham hos­pi­tal­ity venue is the first WA fran­chise of the Vic­to­rian chain and was opened by Aus­tralian in­ter­na­tional hockey player Tim Deavin.
