Splash into a world of fun and adventure during the school holidays
The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre’s Splash! April Holiday Program features a range of activities for kids and their families during the school holidays.
From performance to story time and workshops, there’s something for all ages, including a pop-up cafe with puzzles and board games on every table. Small Voices Louder is a child-only space for playing and pondering and aims at creating a magical world of tents and teepees.
Small Voices Louder runs from Tuesday, April 11, to Saturday, April 15, and is for kids over seven years.
One of the most-read and famous children’s books of all time, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, will emerge off the page in a theatrical experience for the whole family on Tuesday, April 11.
Kids are invited to journey through Eric Carle’s incredible stories as they come to life on stage.
Mandurah libraries will be popping in to read some of the author’s timeless classics and a foodie workshop where kids can create a bug-themed snack.
Slapdash Galaxy lands at Manpac on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 with the tale of Sam and Junior.
The new show from Bunk Puppets’ theatre company conjures up low-fi theatrical wizardry using only the contents of a cleaning closet. Parents are warned some elements may be scary for children under 5 years.
For more information on all the workshops and performances call the Box Office 9550 3900 or visit manpac.com.au.
