Di­ary filled with festive cheer

The City of Rock­ing­ham will be buzzing to the sounds of Christ­mas this festive sea­son, with plenty of events hap­pen­ing to keep both young and old en­ter­tained.

Start­ing today, the Safety Bay Li­brary will be host­ing its an­nual Christ­mas Party, with Rhyme Time and Tod­dler Time Christ­mas par­ties fol­low­ing on Thurs­day morn­ing at Warn­bro Com­mu­nity Li­brary.

On Satur­day morn­ing the Rock­ing­ham Cup­cake As­so­ci­a­tion will present a free Christ­mas cup­cake dec­o­rat­ing class at the Rock­ing­ham Cen­tral Li­brary.

On Tues­day, De­cem­ber 19, there will be a range of festive events across the City with Christ­mas craft events to be held at both the Mary Davies Li­brary and Com­mu­nity Cen­tre and Warn­bro Com­mu­nity Li­brary from 10am and 11am re­spec­tively.

On De­cem­ber 20, Rock­ing­ham Cen­tral Li­brary will also host a Christ- mas crafts event at 10am, while Safety Bay Li­brary will hold a Christ­mas crafts event for kids at the same time.

A very spe­cial guest from the North Pole will make an early ap­pear­ance on De­cem­ber 22 at the Rock­ing­ham Cen­tral Li­brary, with the City’s Christ­mas disco back by pop­u­lar de­mand.

Two days be­fore Christ­mas the Rock­ing­ham Cen­tral Li­brary will again be host to Christ­mas cheer, with a spe­cial Christ­mas story time event kick­ing off from 10am.

Fol­low­ing Christ­mas fes­tiv­i­ties, Rock­ing­ham will turn its at­ten­tions to New Year’s Eve cel­e­bra­tions with a huge event planned at the Rock­ing­ham Fore­shore.

Former Aus­tralian idol star Shan­non Noll, Livewire and the Milk­men will wel­come in 2018, with fire­works set to light up the sky at 9pm and mid­night.
