Three boys arrested over primary school break-in
Police have apprehended three boys under the age of 10 who allegedly broke into East Waikiki Primary School last week.
The boys, aged seven, eight and nine, were found at about 8pm on Monday, December 11, when police were called to the school.
Police said the boys entered a classroom, rummaged through property and removed some items.
The boys were arrested but no charges were laid because of their age.
Under Federal law, children under 10 years old are not held criminally responsible for their actions, except in Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
