Federal leaders ignore WA

Southern Telegraph - - Opinion - Robert Collie, Waikiki

Both Shorten and Turnbull have come to town many times, promised to correct the GST — and done nothing.

Both have promised top-ups; however, these top-ups are really not top-ups at all.

I was simply amazed that Turnbull went to Victoria last week and promised $5 billion for a train line from the airport to the city.

This is after WA was told no funding was available as the Federal Government does not fund rail transport.

What we really need is a party to be formed that will stand up for WA and hold a balance of power in the Senate — unlike our existing members, who do nothing for the State they represent. Grylls and co., where are you, we need someone now.

I will not be voting for Labor or Liberal in the next Federal election, nor should you.
