Firefighters douse Secret Harbour blaze
About 4ha of bushland was destroyed and 30 firefighters called after a bushfire in Secret Harbour on Sunday.
The fire started near the inter- section of Berryessa Parkway and Summerville Avenue and was reported to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services at 1.42pm.
Berryessa Parkway was closed to traffic as there was a lot of smoke in the area, while career and volun- teer firefighters attended the scene to control and eventually extinguish the blaze. The street was reopened on Monday morning.
At the time of the Telegraph going to print, firefighters were patrolling the area.
