Part­ner­ship key to en­riched learn­ing

Bal­divis is now home to a spe­cially de­signed and pur­pose-built early learn­ing cen­tre.

Maragon Early Learn­ing blends the method­olo­gies of Montes­sori and Reg­gio Emilia to pro­vide chil­dren with the tools to be­come con­fi­dent learn­ers.

Bal­divis cen­tre di­rec­tor Ni­cole Wort­ley said as early child­hood ed­u­ca­tors, Maragon Bal­divis un­der­stood the piv­otal role fam­i­lies played in cre­at­ing pos­i­tive re­la­tion­ships.

“Fam­i­lies are viewed as our part­ners and we be­lieve we have a shared goal in ed­u­cat­ing the chil­dren,” she said.

“We firmly be­lieve we cre­ate our com­mu­nity around our ser­vice and work in part­ner­ship to en­sure en­riched learn­ing out­comes for all in­volved. “

Maragon Bal­divis caters for chil­dren aged eight weeks to five years. It pro­vides nat­u­ral play­grounds, based on oc­cu­pa­tional ther­a­pies and a spe­cialised school readi­ness pro­gram.

The cen­tre’s menu is de­vel­oped in con­sul­ta­tion with Nour­ished Be­gin­nings, to en­sure meals are nutri­tious.
