Po­lice call for mo­torist al­ter­ca­tion wit­nesses

Kwinana po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing an in­ci­dent that left a 35-year-old man with fa­cial in­juries.

About 7pm on Fri­day, July 6, the man and a friend were driv­ing in a red Hyundai i30 GD se­ries from Rock­ing­ham to Perth and no­ticed a sil­ver Hyundai trav­el­ling very close be­hind them and flash­ing its head­lights.

The man stopped his car at a red light at the in­ter­sec­tion of Thomas and Rock­ing­ham roads in Kwinana Beach when a man got out of the Hyundai.

The vic­tim also got out of his car and a ver­bal ex­change took place be­fore the vic­tim was as­saulted.

He suf­fered fa­cial in­juries.

Po­lice would like to speak to any­one who saw the in­ci­dent, par­tic­u­larly a man in a work ve­hi­cle who stopped to as­sist the vic­tim.
