Snap­pers urged to have ‘voice’

En­tries for the City of Rock­ing­ham’s 10th am­a­teur Pho­toVoice dig­i­tal pho­tog­ra­phy com­pe­ti­tion close on Fri­day, Au­gust 17.

Pho­toVoice in­volves par­tic­i­pants tak­ing pho­tos un­der a par­tic­u­lar theme, in this case Act-Be­long-Com­mit, and in­clud­ing a sen­tence or short para­graph ex­plain­ing the photo to give it a “voice”.

Am­a­teur pho­tog­ra­phers in the com­mu­nity are en­cour­aged to enter, with se­lected en­tries to be printed, framed and dis­played at a pub­lic ex­hi­bi­tion at the Gary Hol­land Com­mu­nity Cen­tre for three weeks from Septem­ber 18-Oc­to­ber 10.

There are 14 prize cat­e­gories, with cash prizes and vouch­ers up for grabs, with cat­e­gory win­ners to take home a Nikon D5600 DSLR cam­era.
