Brush twice daily, prefer­ably with flu­o­ride tooth­paste. Use floss at least once a day Eat healthy. Re­duce sug­ary drinks and food.

Visit the den­tist for reg­u­lar check-ups at least once a year.

It’s also im­por­tant to know den­tal health can in­flu­ence or be in­flu­enced by many sys­temic fac­tors in­clud­ing di­a­betes, heart dis­ease, stress, med­i­ca­tions, hor­monal changes and ge­net­ics.
