Sand needed for building industry

Southern Telegraph - - Opinion - Name and address supplied

Did anyone read the PGV documents relating to the Wellard sand mine proposal?

The sand to be extracted is a critical resource (for concrete) in short supply to build our homes, hospitals, schools, footpaths, roads and essential infrastructure.

Have the Casuarina Wellard Progress Association and the City of Kwinana adopted a concrete-free policy? Or do they hypocritically expect supplies for this resource to come from neighbouring shires to build our homes and essential infrastructure?
