Spe­cial­ists on hand to help

Es­tab­lished to pro­vide ex­ten­sive spe­cial­ist care in the com­mu­nity, the Rock­ing­ham Spe­cial­ist Cen­tre opened last week, with 25 spe­cial­ists on hand to as­sist with a range of health is­sues.

The cen­tre will service Rock­ing­ham, Kwinana and Man­durah and sur­round­ing com­mu­ni­ties, and is one of the largest and most af­ford­able spe­cial­ist care cen­tres avail­able in WA with mixed billing fa­cil­i­ties.

The range of care avail­able is ex­ten­sive, with spe­cial­ists avail­able in pae­di­atrics, ado­les­cent health, psy­chi­a­try, en­docrinol­ogy, di­a­betes, car­di­ol­ogy, nephrol­ogy, ob­stet­rics and gy­nae­col­ogy.

There are also spe­cial­ists in in­ter­nal medicine, urol­ogy, res­pi­ra­tory, rheuma­tol­ogy, neu­rol­ogy, on­col­ogy and or­thopaedics, among oth­ers.

The Rock­ing­ham Spe­cial­ist Cen­tre is open, from 8.30am to 6pm from Mon­days to Fri­days and from 8.30am to 12pm on Satur­days at Unit 3, Ped­lar Cir­cuit in Rock­ing­ham.
