Businesses urged to help education centre
Baldivis Children’s Forest will soon be home to a new environmental education centre after the not-for-profit organisation this week launched its concept designs for the project.
The education centre will provide a functional multi-purpose area for a wide range of activities and will include a classroom or workshop space.
Partially funded by the State Government, the BCF management committee is seeking additional sponsorship.
Baldivis MLA Reece Whitby has thrown his support behind the project and encouraged businesses to help where possible. “This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses and community groups to get onboard and play a direct role in this vital project that embraces youth and the environment,” he said.
“It’s a brilliant way for businesses and others to give back to our community.”
