The City of Kwinana’s City Assist team has finished as runner-up in the 2018 WA ranger team of the year award.

The award recognises deeds and achievements by local government ranger teams in service to the community.

It showed how hard the City Assist team worked to have made the top two ranger teams in WA, Mayor Carol Adams said.

“To place as a runner-up for this award is great recognition for the outstanding teamwork and dedication undertaken by all staff within the City Assist team over the last 12 months,” she said.

The WA ranger team of the year award is granted for outstanding teamwork of benefit to the community by the WA Rangers Association.

Award submissions are judged on a points system against six criteria.
