Cos­play, jew­ellery and art work­shops part of li­brary fun

Ac­tiv­i­ties aimed at teens are tak­ing place at City of Rock­ing­ham li­braries through­out Novem­ber.

A cos­play Game-con is be­ing held at Rock­ing­ham Cen­tral Li­brary on Fri­day, Novem­ber 9, for ages


From 5-7pm, 10-16-year-olds can take part, while from 7.30-9.30pm,

16 to 24-year-olds can dress up in their best cos­play, test out new VR gam­ing sys­tems and other tech, and chal­lenge them­selves to es­cape rooms and other games.

Safety Bay Li­brary will be host­ing a Coachella-in­spired charm bracelet work­shop on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 15, from 4.30pm for 13 to 17year-olds.

Wicked Wall Art on Tues­day, Novem­ber 20, from 5-7pm at Warn­bro Com­mu­nity Li­brary, will al­low 13 to 17-year-olds to make their own art piece us­ing wa­ter­colour and foil tech­niques for a “shabby chic” fin­ish.
