CWA high tea a sweet success
More than 100 people attended CWA Rockingham branch’s charity fundraising high tea at McLarty Hall on October 13.
Raffle prizes and auction items were donated by generous local businesses and members of the community and guests got into the swing of things with themed tables, serenades from local musician Feni, delicious treats and lots of tea and coffee.
A stall was also held at Naragebup Environment Centre’s annual open day, with branch members donating handcrafted items and home-baked treats for the bake sale table.
Both events raised more than $3300, with 10 per cent going to the CWA of WA administration fund and the remainder towards branch charities, Village Women and Wanslea Foster Care.
