Man charged over robberies
A 48-year-old man has been charged after two alleged armed robbery incidents in the Mandurah police district.
About 5.15pm on Friday, November 9, the man allegedly entered a pharmacy on Halliburton Avenue in Warnbro and threatened staff with a firearm before leaving with a sum of money.
The second incident occurred on Friday, November 16, when, about 2.40pm, the man allegedly entered a bank on Kent Street in Rockingham and threatened staff with a firearm but left the area empty-handed.
The Mandurah man was arrested last Wednesday and charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery.
