Man charged over rob­beries

A 48-year-old man has been charged af­ter two al­leged armed rob­bery in­ci­dents in the Man­durah po­lice dis­trict.

About 5.15pm on Fri­day, Novem­ber 9, the man al­legedly en­tered a phar­macy on Hal­libur­ton Av­enue in Warn­bro and threat­ened staff with a firearm be­fore leav­ing with a sum of money.

The sec­ond in­ci­dent oc­curred on Fri­day, Novem­ber 16, when, about 2.40pm, the man al­legedly en­tered a bank on Kent Street in Rock­ing­ham and threat­ened staff with a firearm but left the area empty-handed.

The Man­durah man was ar­rested last Wed­nes­day and charged with one count of armed rob­bery and one count of at­tempted armed rob­bery.
