Mental illness in musical spotlight
Passionate Lives and Foundations for a Better Tomorrow are looking for singer/ songwriters from Rockingham and Kwinana with a lived experience of mental illness for an exciting new project.
The groups will be supporting seven singer/ songwriters to write and record an original song around the theme of hope, and filming a video diary of the journey.
Passionate Lives, based in Kwinana, runs mental health training courses and founder Trys Reddick is passionate about breaking stereotypes around mental illness and suicide prevention.
Together with local youth worker Lauren Rickert, he co- founded the Kwinana Alliance against Depression, supported by the WA Primary Health Alliance and Kwinana MLA Roger Cook.
