Crews rush to Bal­divis fire

Crews from five fire­fight­ing ser­vices and 12 ap­pli­ances were sent to bat­tle a house fire on Pa­tron Road, Bal­divis, on Mon­day morn­ing.

Per­son­nel from Bal­divis and Rock­ing­ham vol­un­teer fire and res­cue ser­vices, and Rock­ing­ham, Murdoch and Hope Val­ley fire and res­cue ser­vices ex­tin­guished the blaze at 11.15am af­ter a 000 call was re­ceived at 10.32am.

Fire in­ves­ti­ga­tion of­fi­cers were still on the scene on Mon­day af­ter­noon but no cause or es­ti­mate of dam­age had been es­tab­lished as the Tele­graph went to print.
