Measles warn­ing is­sued af­ter con­firmed case

The De­part­ment of Health last week is­sued a warn­ing af­ter a per­son who vis­ited work­places and pub­lic venues was di­ag­nosed with measles.

The per­son was in the Rock­ing­ham/ Man­durah ar­eas on Satur­day, Jan­uary 19, where they were at the Kar­nup Chemist Ware­house and Lake­lands Shop­ping Cen­tre, as well as the phar­macy next to Rock­ing­ham Med­i­cal Cen­tre that night. There is no risk of ac­quir­ing measles from vis­it­ing one of these venues out­side of these times.
