Book lovers can grab a bar­gain when a va­ri­ety of books go on sale over the next two weeks as part of the City of Rock­ing­ham’s an­nual sum­mer book sale.

Res­i­dents will be able to select their favourites from cat­e­gories in­clud­ing adult fic­tion, non- fic­tion, chil­dren’s ma­te­rial, mag­a­zines and more.

City of Rock­ing­ham Mayor Barry Sam­mels en­cour­aged read­ers to check out the se­lec­tion on of­fer dur­ing the sale.

“The City’s an­nual sum­mer book sale has be­come a pop­u­lar event with li­brary pa­trons over the years, with a wide range of ti­tles across a num­ber of dif­fer­ent gen­res on of­fer,” he said.

“Whether you are a fan of grip­ping fic­tion mys­ter­ies, in­for­ma­tive mag­a­zines, or sim­ply pre­fer to find some­thing in­ter­est­ing for your chil­dren to read, there will be some­thing for ev­ery­one at the Rock­ing­ham Cen­tral Li­brary’s sum­mer book sale.

“No item for sale will cost more than $ 2, so be sure to grab your­self a bar­gain be­fore books sell out,” he said.

The sale will be held at the Rock­ing­ham Cen­tral Li­brary from this Satur­day to next Satur­day, Fe­bru­ary 16.

The li­brary is lo­cated on Dixon Road, near the Mur­doch Univer­sity Rock­ing­ham Cam­pus.
