Lions to help local causes

Southern Telegraph - - SPORT -

The Baldivis Lions are holding a golf event on May 5 at the Secret Harbour Golf Course, where all money raised will be given back to the community for local causes.

There is a call-out for players to take part in the event.

The cost is $125 per person and entitles each player to 18 holes of golf and a shared motorised golf cart, as well as a bucket of range balls and a Chefs Grill dinner.

The main sponsor of the event is Brighter, a brand backed by the Australia Petroleum Production and Exploration Association, which exists to draw out and champion stories surrounding natural gas, from the best public barbecues and gas-powered buses, to the role the industry plays in science, technology, engineering and maths education and supporting local communities.

The Baldivis Lions Club is still looking for a second sponsor for the event, as well as hole sponsors.
