Travis Carter

Southern Telegraph - - FEDERAL ELECTION -

Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Mr Carter did not respond to the Sound Telegraph. The following information was collected from his official candidate web page.

Travis Carter is a local father-of-three who believes One Nation’s policy to cut immigration to zero-net levels is of great importance. He is also concerned about the impact political correctness is having on the education system and employment opportunities for his family and other young families in Brand.

While working fly-in, fly-out, he experienced the harsh lifestyle that comes with working away and saw what he described as “both major parties looking to extract extra money from hardworking families”, and the penalisation for dedication to family.

He also has experience with the family law courts system after his first marriage ended, which he attributed with his joining PHON and wanting to push for an overhaul of the family law courts and child support agency.

He will push for PHON’s fairer tax system, standing up for Australians disappointed in the current political parties, and calling on the Government to increase the aged pension and disability support pension.
