MEMBER for Southern Downs James Lister has strongly denied any wrongdoing after Southern Downs Regional Council allegedly made a complaint to police.

IF this matter that has been referred to police results in no further action or criminal charges, I publicly call on the member/s of Council responsible for the complaint, resign from their position/s effective immediately! — Adam Colrain SOUNDS like an episode from Rake on ABC. — Laura Kidd A REAL gentleman won’t be put down by this. As he said too busy getting on with what is important. All the best James Lister. — Val Walters ALL the best James, this is only trivial.

Keep up the good work. — Sue Boyce WHAT!!! Really???

I support James.

He is a lovely family man that listens to people and supports our businesses in town! — Taya Michalski JAMES Lister is doing his job, representing the people. — Darryl Evans SO, we have our State Member who is incredibly popular because he truly listens to and speaks up for locals.

In contrast, our Council who is and does none of these things, refers him to the police.

SDRC could learn a lot from James. — Marion Carrick
