WAL­LAN­GARRA’S RSL has been feel­ing gen­er­ous lately, gift­ing some mil­i­tary do­na­tions to the bor­der school. “We were gifted some lovely items that in­clude ac­tual sand of Gal­lipoli and we thank the RSL for their do­na­tion and pro­vid­ing en­gag­ing in­for­ma­tion for the stu­dents,” Wal­lan­garra

State School’s Jenny Lut­ter said. “RSL pres­i­dent Den­nis Pol­lard talked to the stu­dents about what the RSL does and was im­pressed with our do­na­tions and stu­dents want­ing to sup­port ac­tive ser­vice peo­ple. The stu­dents showed him let­ters they’d writ­ten, Christ­mas Cards, pop­pies, re­turn en­velopes and more.” Stu­dents posted boxes over­seas on Fri­day for serv­ing per­son­nel.
