Works begin at the railway station garden

Stanthorpe Border Post - - LIFE GRANITE BELT GARDENING - — Contributed

THERE’S excitement at the Stanthorpe Railway Station as the long-awaited building work is about to begin. Once our verandah extension and disabled facilities are complete, we will be on track to offer a far wider range of community activities such as workshops and artisan days, all with a fully operational cafe.

A big thank you to all who have supported us in this venture and will continue to support us through memberships and volunteering – we are looking to expand both.

Come to the Whistlestop Gardens at the railway on Thursday, January 17, or Saturday, February 9, for plant sales, special offers and new stock – and to take a look at the progress our dedicated gardeners have made.

The big gate opposite IGA will be open.

The Molly Mac accommodation raffle, which was generously supported, was won by ticket No.223.
